RPA Application Settings
The RPA application is a dedicated client used for Robotic Process Automation services.
X‑Platform provides two types of RPA application channel types:
RPA Attended. Applications created for this channel execute RPA Calls via a single Bot that resides on the local machine. The RPA Attended application can optionally use RPA event triggers to automatically perform activities. You can create multiple RPA Attended applications for an account.

RPA Unattended. The Application supplied for this channel executes RPA Calls via any Bot that is currently available for the account on the X‑Platform Server. Some settings in the RPA Unattended application are not editable.
Details Tab
The Details panel of the RPA Attended application channel type is shown below.

Note
The Details panel of the RPA Unattended application is similar to that of RPA Attended, however some of its fields are not editable.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Application Name | The name of the application. |
Channel Type | The channel that will be used to run the application. |
Description | A brief description of the application. |
Application Key | An identifier that is defined in the X-Console and used for access to the server. The application key is generated automatically when an application is added. For details about changing the Application Key, click here. |
Modified On | The last date and time that changes were made to this Application. |
Modified By | The last Admin who made changes to this Application. |
Listening | Choose whether JBot will perform real-time Listening and runtime data updates for:

Screen Capture | Optionally activating the Capture and store screen upon error checkbox instructs X-Designer to create a full screen capture when an RPA execution error occurs. The capture will be added to call execution details that are provided in the RPA Monitor Calls View. By default, this checkbox is not activated. |
Triggers Tab
When configuring a RPA Attended application, this panel enables you to create Triggers that perform the assigned RPA operations whenever a specific RPA event occurs. For more information, see Adding RPA Event Triggers.
Editing RPA Attended/Unattended Application Settings
From the Applications page, click the Name link of the relevant Application. The Details panel for the Application is displayed.
Update settings in the Details panel, as required. For details, click here.
Update the assignments in the Triggers panel, as required. All trigger additions, changes and deletions are saved immediately. For details, click here.
At the lower right corner of the page, click Save. When all entries are valid, a confirmation message is displayed.
