Changing Your Password

Any user with access to the X-Console can change their own password on demand using the Change Password process.

Note

The Change Password process is only available when an account is using Internal authentication.

  1. From the Users page, click on the Full Name field of your account. Your user Details page is displayed.

  2. At the the upper right corner of the page, click Change Password:

    The Choose Your Password dialog is displayed:

  3. Enter the requested details:

    • your old (i.e., current) password

    • your new password

    • confirm your new password

  4. Click Change Password. The password will be updated for your account.

Note

It is only possible to change your own account password. To change another user's password as an Admin, use the Reset Password process.
