Specification and Requirements

This topic contains specifications and requirements for the Cisco UCCX contact centre component only. Only specifications relevant to this UCCX integration are listed here.

Prerequisites
Prerequisites – UCCX Specific

The UCCX system has specific additional metadata fields which are configurable in the UCCX system and must be configured by the customer’s telephony engineer. For more details please see Cisco’s documentation, here.

Prior to a Uniphore / UCCX installation taking place, the customer must provide a list of the database fields in the exact order that they appear in the UCCX database, in order for them to be available in U‑Capture. See Cisco CTI - CTI Server Config.

Prerequisites – Uniphore Specific

In general, these integration guidelines assume that:

  • A U‑Capture Core Services Kubernetes cluster has been deployed.

  • One or more Collectors have been deployed.

  • Each Collector has been fully configured for your telephony integration(s).

Please note UCCX metadata fields must be configured in the UCCX system in order for them to be available in U‑Capture. For more information see Prerequisites – UCCX Specific.
