Editing the IA Fallback Intent Flow
When you create a new Intelligent Assist (IA) Domain, X-Designer automatically creates its Fallback Intent Flow. The Fallback is invoked when the NLP Engine triggers an Intent on X‑Platform that has not yet been mapped to any Intent Flow.
You can customize this predefined Fallback flow to better fit your needs, like any other Intent Flow.
Note
You cannot rename the predefined Fallback flow.
From the Toolbar, click Flow and open the Fallback Flow that is you want to customize. When the Fallback Flow is automatically created, it is given the name
[IA Domain Name] Fallback Flow:
As a Fallback mechanism, the predefined Flow uses a simple Response Element containing a generic message.
You can edit the open Fallback Flow by adding other Flow elements from the Add Steps Toolbox, like any other Intent Flow.
