Configure VoIP Connections
In Avaya Aura Experience Portal, U-Self Serve uses both SIP and H.323 connections to handle Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls. The Avaya Aura Session Manager (ASM) is used as the SIP proxy when configuring Experience Portal to use SIP. Experience Portal uses H.323 connections with a Communication Manager to handle Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony.
Prerequisite: Collect SIP details and H.323 details from your customer before configuring VOIP.
To Configure SIP
Go to System Configuration from the left pane and select VoIP Connections. The VoIP Connections page is displayed.
Select SIP tab and click Add.
Enter the following SIP connection details collected from the customer:
Name
Proxy Transport
Proxy Servers
Listener Port
Click Save.
Call Capacity
Click Save.
To Configure H.323
Go to System Configuration from the left pane and select VoIP Connections. The VoIP Connections page is displayed.
Select H.323 tab and click Add.
Enter the H.323 connection details collected from the customer.
Name
Gatekeeper Address
Gatekeeper Port
Station Type
Configured Stations
Click Save.
