Avaya Aura Experience Portal Configuration Steps

Avaya Aura Experience Portal (AEP) is used to deploy and configure the U-Self Serve VXML application for call management, control, and routing to U-Self Serve.

Follow the below steps to configure Avaya Aura Experience Portal Configuration:

  1. Login to Avaya Aura Experience Portal  (AEP)

  2. Configure below Speech Servers:

    1. ASR Server

    2. TTS Server

  3. Configure below VoIP Connections:

    1. SIP

    2. H.323

  4. Configure VXML Application

Login to Avaya Aura Experience Portal (AEP)

To Login into AEP:

  1. Enter the URL for Experience Portal in the browser.

  2. Log in with your credentials.

Configure ASR Server

Follow the procedure given in this section to configurate Automated Speech Recognition Server (ASR Server).

To configure ASR server:

  1. Go to System Configuration from the left pane and select Speech Servers.

  2. Select the ASR tab and click Add. The following screen is displayed:

  3. Enter UniphoreASR in Name.

  4. Select Nuance as Engine Type.

  5. Enter Network address and Port of the ASR server.

  6. Select Voices for the language of your choice.

  7. Click Save.

Configure TTS Server

This section explains the procedure to Configure Text to Speech Server (TTS Server). To configure TTS server:

  1. Go to System Configuration from the left pane and select Speech Servers.

  2. Select the TTS tab and click Add. The following screen is displayed:

  3. Select Nuance as Engine Type.

  4. Enter Network address and Port of the TTS server.

  5. Select Voices for the language of your choice.

  6. Click Save.
