Working with Connectors
U-Self Serve can be integrated with various telephony systems such as Twilio (Cloud), Exotel (Cloud), Avaya and Cisco through connectors. Developing and deploying telephony specific connectors for customers is a costly, time consuming and resource-intensive process. To overcome these challenges Uniphore Voice Connector (UVC) has been introduced.
Uniphore Voice Connector (UVC) is a single, common connector that support various SIP based telephony systems. UI screens are now available to configure the UVC settings.
Note
As of U-Self Serve 2024.3 release, Uniphore Voice Connector is validated for Twilio telephony system.
From the release 2025.1 onward, sensitive information such as Card Number and PIN that are available in the logs of UVC connector (speech and DTMF) and NLU service can be redacted though feature flag.
