Note

Security Settings are editable by users with Account Adminrole or higher when working in DEV and TEST environments. However, when working in the PROD environment, only a System Admin can make changes to these settings.

Credit Card Security

X‑Platform offers masking and scanning options to protect credit card numbers and related information:

  • Mask Credit Card Info: Scans data that is generated by logic within the Flow, e.g., through Integration Points or and Application extensions. Sensitive data is filtered and masked before being audited to the database.

    Caution

The Mask Credit Card Info option should not be set to Yes when using U-Self Serve redaction functionality. For more information, consult with your Uniphore Support representative.

  • PAN Filter: Scans data that is provided directly by a user (e.g., answers to input questions). Sensitive data is filtered and masked before being sent to the X‑Platform Server.

Security scans search for data patterns that are consistent with the following credit card formats:

  • American Express

  • Diners Club

  • Discover

  • MasterCard

  • Southwest Rapid Rewards

  • Visa

By default, settings for both options are set to Yes. To change a setting, please contact Uniphore Support.
