General Settings

The General Settings page provides various settings and options that determine some of the X‑Platform features available for the account.

Note

General Settings can be edited only by users with System Admin role. To perform changes to these settings, please contact your Uniphore Support representative.

Area/Settings

Description

VIVR Settings

Allow use of SMS provider master account. Enables setting up a specific supplier as the primary SMS provider. By default, this is set to On

Count Carrier Lookup for Deflected Calls Report. Determines whether Deflected Calls Reports include the total number of carrier lookups that were performed as part of its calculations. By default, this is set to On.

Integration Point Logs

Enable Integration Point logging. Instructs X‑Platform to create a detailed transaction logs for Integration Point (IP) activities. By default, this is set to On

Delete Logs after. Sets the number of days that X‑Platform will keep the IP Logs. By default, this is set to 90 days.

URL Shortener

URL Shortener provider. Enables selection of either X‑Platform's internal facility or an external provider for URL shortening services. By default, this is set to Internal URL Shortener.

Base URL. The URL to be used as the root for all shortened URLs.

Deployment

Enable New Deployment. Makes the X‑Platform Resources Deployment facility available for this account. By default, this is set to No. For new accounts, this is set to Yes.

Automatic Snapshot. Instructs X‑Platform to automatically create a Snapshot of existing environment resources before performing a Deployment operation. The automatic Snapshot can be created for any, all or no environments. By default, the Prod environment is activated.

Note: The Automatic Snapshot setting is relevant only when using the Resources Deployment import facility.

Client Error

Enable Expression Error. For debugging purposes, this instructs X‑Platform to create detailed client-side logs for errors that occur in the Designer. By default, this is set to Yes.

General

Multi Environment. Activates X‑Platform's multi environment functionality. By default, this is set to Yes

Designer launched by. Enables selection of the platform that is used to run the X-Designer. By default, this is set to Designer.
