RPA Applications Coverage: Overview

Uniphore Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) can be extended to include coverage for any application using JBot.

X‑Platform accepts pre-defined coverage methods, called Add-Ons, that provide specific automation 'know-how' according to the application.

When using an application Add-On, Uniphore RPA provides powerful built-in tools that help you create and maintain custom automations for the covered application. For complete details on how to create Add-On coverage for Uniphore RPA, consult with your customer success representative.

Extending application coverage for Uniphore RPA requires the following steps:

  1. A coverage writer creates an Add-On after determining the custom requirements of the application that will be covered.

  2. Uploading the pre-defined Add-On that contains the new coverage to X-Console. For details, click here.

  3. Assigning the Add-On to a Covered Application. For details, click here.

After extending coverage, you can immediately begin to record, capture and design automation sequences for the covered application using RPA.
