Committing a VA Version
Using Commit, you can create a new version of a VA. Only the committed versions are allowed to publish. At any point, the user can commit a new version of their current test VA. The committed version is saved in the VA history and replaces publish history. Version numbers is automatically assigned, in increments of 1, example Version V1, Version V2, etc.
Click Commit button.
Enter the Version Name.
Enter the Description. The Description can contain the reason for committing a new version of the VA.
Caution
Once a version is committed no additional changes can be made to that version.
You cannot commit a older version of a VA without making any changes to it.
