2023.2
New Features
Integrated UI
U-Self Serve has a brand new and unified user interface for managing the AI model and Intent flows. Conversation designers will log in to Interact for managing the life cycle of a Virtual Assistant end to end. Here are the new screens a flow admin will see in Interact for U-Self Serve:
Create a Virtual Assistant in one of the available languages
VA Sections screen: The go to screen for all things related to a VA. Click one of the multiple tabs to perform a certain task on Intents, Entities, Versioning etc.
Intents: Create Intents, slots, and training phrases
Entities: Create and edit custom and alphanumeric entities.
Configuration: Configure the flow for various fallback situation.
AI Configuration: Define NLU threshold limits and TTS configuration.
NLU Version History: Manage and Publish VA versions.
Assisted Training: Continuous training of VA’s for AI model improvement.
Generalized Twilio Connector
U-Self Serve has introduced the concept of Generalized Twilio Connector where a single connector can handle calls placed for any of the Virtual Agents and languages available for a tenant. This eliminates the process of maintaining separate connector for every Virtual Agent and Language.
Known Issues
Line number | Issue Description |
|---|---|
1 | The 23.2.1.0 and 23.2.2.0 versions of VAD services are not stable as socket connection is getting closed. |
2 | After updating the agent transfer details via Swagger for an Intent language combination some configuration change needs to be done for the changes to take effect. For example, this could be something as simple as hitting the save button on the AI configuration page. The current data syncing operations between internal components requires the same to happen. |
3 | When a variable is mapped to an Intent slot, an internal error is shown initially. The user needs to perform a create, edit, or save transaction to complete the mapping of slot to session variable. |
4 | When a VA is created with FAQ BOT on but there is no KAI end point available, the FAQ BOT toggle is ON but grayed out in VA listings page. There is no message or notification available to the user as to how the toggle element can become editable again. |
5 | Microsoft TTS no longer supports standard TTS Voices. For 2023.2 we show the list of standard voices in the drop down but when mapped to a VA it fails to work. Microsoft TTS can be used only with Neural Voice. In subsequent releases, we have planned to remove the standard voices from the drop down. |
