2. How are documents ingested or uploaded to X-Stream?
Documents can be ingested into X-Stream using the following two methods:
Adding Source and Connection
Automatic Ingestion: Documents can be automatically ingested into X-Stream by configuring a source and establishing a connection. Once the source and connection are set up, the documents from the source will be ingested and synced to X-Stream based on the specified connection frequency (e.g., daily, on change, etc.).
Configuration: To add a source and connection, users need to follow the steps in the "Sources" and "Connections" sections of this document.
Manual Upload
Direct Upload: Users can manually upload documents by using the "Upload Documents" button in the X-Stream interface. This option allows users to either browse and select files or drag and drop multiple files for bulk upload.
Flexibility: This method provides flexibility in managing documents that may not be available from an automated source or need immediate addition.
These methods ensure that users have both automated and manual options for ingesting documents into X-Stream, depending on their needs.
