1. Interact Overview

Uniphore Interact is an automation platform, management tool and web service that enables you to design activity Flows for secure access by users in real time, as well as manage all account activity via an Administrative Console. Interact is built on the following foundation tools:

  • Web Designer: The application in which Designers and Admins create and test workflows. Completed Flows are published to the Interact Server for secured, shared use with other Designers and for use in Production.

  • Interact Server: A web server that functions as a management tool and security service for running and administration of Interact Flows and Uniphore client applications. It supports running, editing, managing and reporting for each Interact component. For the system to operate normally, server settings need to be properly configured, and the server must be deployed onto a suitable Java application server.

  • Interact Admin Console: The central management platform of the system. From the Console, users with appropriate role privileges can manage the account and configure all resources.

  • Uniphore Interact Clients: The various applications used by end users to run Flows, for instance:

    • Agent Applications: Designed for call center agents, who use the workflows while interacting with customers.

    • Self-Serve Applications: Designed for customers to access self-service Flows using their mobile devices and their web browsers (mobile and desktop).

    • Assistant Applications: Designed to support both Agent and customer chatbot activities using Uniphore advanced AI features, the Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Server, and other natural language processing engines.

  • Uniphore Reporting: A data collection and reporting facility for both runtime and post-process analysis of Interact activities and statistics.

  • Uniphore API: A set of application programming interface elements that provide secure access to key functions of the Interact Server.

  • Add-On Tools: JBot, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Advanced Business Information (BI), Intelligent Assistant (IA) and other components.
